Oh Clamp...

deathbyshiny:

My favorite part about this April Fool’s/Sakura’s Birthday joke is the Kurogane/Fai stuff, obviously. ;D

[Security Team: Kurogane] “Planning department.  If you want to work overtime, get permission from your boss, and write a draft permission request in advance.  Especially you, Fai.  Staying behind of your own accord, hiding yourself at the planning department desk during patrol rounds then scaring the late-night patrol guard is something that you’re gonna stop doing without fail.  With. out. fail.

There’s another one on the twitter where Fai says something about a product/concept and Kurogane yells at him for posting it.

Either way, I totally died at Kurogane yelling at Fai for his antics.

A/U Headcanon: Fai stays late and tries to surprise Kurogane while he’s on his rounds, but he ends up getting “punished” for his misbehaving.

“Seishiro!”

can we please talk about how Fai protects Kurogane and Tomoyo in this scene?

He’s changed so much in such a short time. He won’t throw his life away, but he will not hesitate to protect something precious to him. I think he feels like he owes Kurogane, but it’s more than that.

Kurogane immediately goes to protect Tomoyo because that’s his duty and she’s very important to him. Also, he knows that Fai, Syaoran and Souma are perfectly capable of protecting themselves and Amaterasu and Sakura. But Fai moves to protect Kurogane and Tomoyo, the two people he owes the most to. Kurogane who was always important, even when it wasn’t really in a good way. Now he’s the first on his mind, especially since he cut off his own arm to save him, and his fighting power is kinda down.

The determination in his eyes is completely new. Before, even in dangerous situations he would still be fighting with a goofy smile on his face. But he has changed so much since then.

don’t you just love all the names Mokona gives to Kurogane

you mean the names Fai gives to Kurogane?

I think this could be the one night
I give in to this fight
Boy I just might
Cause you rule my head
I can’t stop the motion
Hold me, be the way you told me
Whisper something so sweet
This could be the night
Wrong feels so right

This could be the night
Wrong feels so right

Got your back

can we just talk about how when kurogane and fai are in the worst of fights or disagreements, they still fight like one person?

throughout most of the series kurogane knows that fai is hiding quite a lot. he’s the only one who’s always been able to see right through him. but still, every single time they fight together, it’s simply amazing. even when they’re on bad terms, when they cant communicate, when they’re complete strangers. Always a team.

“Somebody loves you if they call you out on your bullshit. They’re not passive, they don’t just let you get away with murder. They know you well enough and care about you enough to ask you to chill out, to bust your balls, to tell you to stop. They aren’t passive observers in your life, they are in the trenches. They have an opinion about your decisions and the things you say and do. They want to be a part of it; they want to be a part of you”  - (Ryan O’Connell)
